Claro Walnut Round/ Crosscut that came out of an orchard that reached maturity from Gridley, in Butte County, CA. This round is from a Claro Walnut burl. One of our supplies spotted a farmer pushing together a pile of orchard removal waste together and burning it and could identify there were some burls worth salvaging in the fire. Talked the farmer into letting him put out the fire and save the burls. The outsides edge is nice and charred but we wire brushed it back.
