These English Walnut shorts came out of an orchard that reached maturity from Gridley, in Butte County, CA. One of our suppliers spotted a farmer pushing together a pile of orchard removal waste together and burning it, and could identify there were some material worth salvaging from the fire. Talked the farmer into putting out the fire and saving the wood.
